A PROPOSAL FOR DRAFTING OF THE TEACHING METHOD TO BE APPLIED IN THE TEACHING OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT SALAH (PRAYER)

This paper represents an attempt to improve the process of teaching the above subject. The children’s attention can usually be drawn only through a game. Considering that a larger part of the class is overloaded with oneway communication (third class type or passive learning) concerning the serious subject, then achieving the goal of the teaching in fact represents a true challenge. One has to find a path to the student through game and visual experiencing of the salah (prayer). This means that one can, using the language of game, establish a serious practice. This method may make a modest contribution to this, particularly if we bear in mind that this method has been already tested and has shown to be effective in the practice in both elementary schools as well as high schools. The most important thing, however, is that this allows for a second class communication (active and interactive learning) depending on the teacher’s choice. This will allow for the salah (prayer) to be seen as not so complicated but as something interesting.
