THE ROLES OF MUALLIMS IN DEVELOPMENT OF POSITIVE PEDAGOGIC ENVIRONMENT IN MAKTABS

The goal of this research was to describe the connection between the role of muallims in maktabs and the pedagogic environment in maktabs. The research sample is based on 10 muallims and 40 students from the area of the Islamic Community local council in Zenica. The main findings suggest that there is statistically important difference between opinions of muallims and students regarding negative peer interaction. Detailed analysis showed that the role of formal authority of muallims is statistically in a significant connection with pedagogic environment in maktabs in terms of disciplinary responsibility. The real picture of problems in interaction among students is not visible enough for muallims and they should word harder on improvement of interaction among students.
