PREPARATION FOR CLASS

Abstract

A great number of the Qur’an narratives on the Prophets have been told with a purpose that those who listen or read them could draw lessons. One of the most famous narratives is certainly the story of Nuh s.a.w. This class preparation presents the narrative on Nuh s.a.w. and his people. The goals of the class are as follows: Educational: to interpret the narrative on the Nuh, s.a.w, his building of the Ark and deluge itself to recognize principle of God’s Justice in which He offers a hand of salvation to all those striving to abide by His principles Edifying: to develop positive qualities in a student: honesty, righteousness, nobility, proper stance towards her/his faith to recognize God’s justice as the principle with which He rules the world to gradually reveal life as the most valuable God’s gift to encourage students to continue their independent research, study the literature from the history of Islam Functional: to gain ability to gather crucial facts from the text, make personal conclusions and ability to listen others develop attentiveness, active thinking in the process of reading, writing and listening to develop qualities - observing connections between contents within the religious instruction subjects and surroundings (history and geography)
