Characteristics of morale development in the maktab education

This article presents the main features of the development of morality in the maktab education and in the maktab class textbooks. It uses Bloom's taxonomy and theory of learning with regard to the development of competencies. Characteristic feature of the maktab education lies in integrating knowledge, faith and action, which, in turn, helps in the formation of an integral moral personality of students and strengthens the students' motivation for upholding the principles of moral values and helps develop a sense of responsibility for the community. The analysis shows that the textbooks clearly present moral values and skills and stress the formative character. This approach provides students not only with theoretical norms and moral values, but also with their practical application in everyday life. In conclusion, the text highlights the importance of continuous revision of the textbooks and further studies in the field of the practical impacts of their implementation.
