Osman-ef. Kavazović, imam of a jamaat and an officer of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a strong sense of humane and social responsibility, was also actively engaged in writing. As a result of this intellectual activity, a number of very valuable and interesting books were produced. On this occasion, we reviewed his four works. Osman-ef. Kavazović is the author of three books: Azizija i Begova džamija u Brezovom Polju (Azizziya and the Bey’s mosque in Brezovo Polje), Putopisi hafiza hadži Zaim-efendije Huskanovića (Travelouges of hafiz Zaim effendi Huskanović), and Tavla klub  “Brezovo  Polje“, and for the book  Drugi korpus slobodipjeva /patriotske pjesme, vojni amblemi, he was a co-author and a collector along with his fellow from the Army, Hasib Mušinbegović. He made a significant contribution in writing two more books. One is a voluminous publication of monographies, Svjedok turbulentnog vremena: generacija Gazi Husrev-begove medrese 1967-1972. (A Witness to the turbulent times: Gazi Husrev-bey’s Madrasa generation of 1967-1972), and the other is a book by Hafiz Fadil Fazlić, Hafizi u Bosni i Hercegovini u posljednjih 150 godina (Huffaz of the Qur’an in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last 150 years). We should also mention here that besides these, Osman-ef. Kavazović published a number of reports, articles, book reviews and other valuable research work that were not in the focus of the present article.
