LET'S BRING SCHOOL CLOSER TO THE STUDENT

Abstract

The student's view of the school is a reflection of his position in theeducational process. We strive to create schools and classrooms in such a way so that each childcan satisfy his curiosity, develop his skills and talents and beable to do what interests him. The student must be prepared for learning, independent use ofvarious sources of knowledge, for development and nurture ofcreative thought and for creation of creative outlook. The solution for this lies in the democratization ofstudent's position in school and in his more creative role in theprocess of planning, implementing and evaluating the results of educationalprocess. Through a right attitude towards the child and through respect for child's individuality and uniqueness, the free individual is beingdeveloped. He will than be able to serve as a model influencing others, his offsprings, and will be able to direct and educate others in a free and democratic manner.In order to implement these ideas and bring school closer to thestudent it is imperative to organize, among other things, permanenteducation of the principals, faculty, students and parents. This is possible only through an immediate action by everyone.
