This article relates to the significance of continuous education of muallims in the context of the educational and upbringing process within the Islamic Community. The text underlines the importance of consistent structure within the field of education. It particularly stresses the need to bring up individuals who are aware of their values, morale, and freedom and are open to new ideas and perspectives. Through analysis of some contemporary challenges, the author also stresses the need for muallims to be flexible and capable of adjusting to rapid social changes, like digitalisation, globalisation, etc. He further highlights the importance of adequate development of pedagogical, didactic, emotional, and communication skills as well as the development of the spiritual dimension, as muallims must be role models in terms of faith and morality.  In this regard, institutionalised support for continuous education programmes, seminars and mentorships, which exchange learning and experience among muallims, is critical. Continuous learning improves the quality of maktab education, strengthening the Islamic identity of young people, thus having a positive impact in the broader community. In conclusion, the author stresses that continuous education of muallims is not only a professional but also a religious obligation essential for preserving spiritual and moral values in contemporary society.
