One of aspects of supplementary education in the primary schools is the educational newspapers for the children and the youth. In order to compete in a very scattered market of ideas offered to the youngest ones, not only through journals but also thorugh the unavoidable media outlets such as television and the Internet, it is necessary to offer a great deal more than the text and its message. By comparing ten children's best-selling newspapers in the schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina the author attemptedto find out how well the Kevser and the Kevserko are able to compete in the school print publishing market. This text offers praises for the positive aspects of the Kevser, but also some criticism for certain oversights. At the end of this work, the author offers, point by point, fifteen very concrete suggestions which can be considered his contribution for the redesign of the children's newspaper Kevser.
