Abstract

Considering the (poorly) equipped schools, there are different possibilities for teachers to apply modern teaching methods in the teaching process. Teachers in our schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina are using their skills and creativity to achieve best possible motivation and participation of students in classes regardless of the given ability to use teaching tools. In order to implement modern teaching strategies in the teaching proces, we need modern teaching tools and technically well-equipped classrooms with multimedia tools, projectors, internet access and so on. However, usage of IT technologies in most of our schools is at a poor level and teachers are trying to enrich the teaching process and get rid of monotony by using their creativity and skillfulness. Due to the lack of technical equipment in schools, teaching based on the theory of multiple intelligences allows every student to show their creativity in accordance with their personality. Certain teaching methods encourage creative thinking and maximum participation of each student in the teaching process without requiring classrooms equipped with modern teaching tools.
