Abstract

Effortless and successful learning about Islam requires the need to have this religion, quite insstinctive and natural to a man, indeed be presented as such. First of all, the substance of Islam is to be presented in a simple and understandable method. This is then to be made accessible to all, since Islam is not a privilege of a small and selected group. In the process of teaching Islam, one is not to favor those who are more talented. In fact, every student needs to be given particular attention bearing in mind that there will be those who will have easier and faster understanding of the mattter being taught. On the other hand, there will be those who will require more time and effort. It is very important to master a reading technique and memorizing, which include: slow reading, reading with understanding (in other words reflecting on what has been read, understanding the substance and finally the memorizing itself). In addition to this kind of reading there is an automatic reading as well. This is the smooth readiing. This reading allows for an easy understanding because one is not concerned with the reading of the text, being that the reading technique has already been mastered. The only thing left is to understand and memorize the text. It is very important, after the text has been memorized, to have the lesson reviewed as well as to supplement it with newly gained knowledge. Additionally, another important thing to have in mind is that what has been learned so far does not represent only a pure memorization of the facts and learning of the contents by heart, but rather that it represents the realization that now this knowledge needs to be applied in the practice. It is of the utmost importance to free oneself of the lower spiritual processes to the advantage of the higher ones. This means that one needs to be involved in the substances, in the resolving of the problems, in the analysis and not only concern oneself with the techniques for the performance of the rituals or with numbers, dates and names. Finally, healthy home atmosphere where the religion, moral and science are preferred represents the source that can offer more to the individual than its own intelligence or a good teacher.
